Sunflowers

I never realized how much I liked sunflowers until I was literally surrounded by them. I've never been a roses girl, and peonies, lavender, and hydrangeas are a few of my favorites. I have now added sunflowers to that list. I love how sunflowers mean adoration; adoration of the sun or of the recipient, I don't know, but either one is a sweet sentiment. Anyways it was a perfect surprise to find a field in full bloom on my way home from the pool the other day (hence the stellar ensemble).
