10 Things I Hate about Italy

So while I'm in Spain (drinking lots of sangria I hope!!) I thought it would be fun to make a list of things that absolutely drive me crazy here in Italy. It's these kind of things that even though might irk me but make me love this country even for her quirks.

1. The water situation
(no big cups, no free water, no water fountains.... I am always in a constant state of dehydration)    my only saving grace is my Camelbak

2. No neosporin
Really?? Clearly Italians never worry about their cuts getting infected. I obviously need to work on my clumsiness ;)

3. Pedestrian right of way
It doesn't exist. Period.

4. Public Restrooms
Another thing that doesn't exist. But it's okay since I never have enough to drink.

5. Nowhere is cool
I have a new appreciation for air conditioning. I also have mastered the attractive sweaty look ;)

6. Mosquito bites
I don't know what they feed them over here but I look like I have chicken pox. It helps me a lot in the boy department for sure!

7. Having to depend on everyone for rides
The upside? It's like riding in a race car!! I might be an adrenaline junkie now...

8. Missing people
I don't get homesick but I still miss people

9. No split checks at dinner
Thank goodness we have mastered this

10. Suede is a summer fabric....
IN WHAT WORLD IS THIS OKAY???

Just because.... It's the little annoying things that make me love Italy even more!!
